About Ms. Preeti Shaw

After completing her MA in Clinical Psychology from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, Ms. Preeti Shaw has dedicated her life in the development of mental health and individual well being. Practicing for 8+ years, she offers the comfort and confidence of a friend and the diagnosis and solution of an expert Counselling Psychologist to people of all ages from diverse walks of life. Individual or in groups, she has provided therapy and counselling in several schools, hospitals, and child development centers.

According to Ms. Shaw, our mind controls our body. Whether they are our moods, habits or even the physical involuntary actions – everything is controlled by the mind, making it the most important part of our body. A healthy mind results in a fulfilling and meaningful life. It gives us the poise, resilience, understanding, and confidence to tackle all obstacles that we face in our lifetime.

Ensuring complete doctor-patient confidentiality, Ms. Shaw offers an empathic and non-judgmental space during therapy in which clients can open up without any fear, doubt, insecurity or inhibition. Calm and attentive she not only listens to what her clients have to say but also observes their body language in order to determine their concern.

With an aim to eradicate all mental health issues, she strives to make mental health care available to anyone who is in need of it.
